Signature cut denim styled in American selvedge denim from the cone mills white oak plant in North Carolina which was the exclusive producer of selvedge denim for Levis 501 jeans since 1915
In a time when people could only afford one pair of jeans a year the white oak plant of cone mills set out to make the best quality most hardest wearing denim they possibly could
The denim was produced on a Draper X3 loom which were rumored to bounce on the hardwood floors of the factory giving the denim small irregularities that denim lovers world wide have set as the new standard for character in a market flooded with flawless denim
This is NOS (new old stock) Denim from the original plant that I was fortunate enough to obtain since The white oak plant closed its doors in 2004
The pants feature my signature cut pockets which contain a hidden welt pocket under the flap
Selvedge waistband
shirting pocket bags
Patch embroidery on back pockets
Wide leg loose fit
